The Global tax compliance program implements the OECD Common Reporting Standard and is a significant step in government's efforts to improve cross border tax compliance. CRS is modelled on FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), however the data required is different and the volume of reporting required is significantly higher as it will with financial transactions from 47 participating countries. This new standard on automatic exchange of information is a game changer and will ramp up international tax co-operation, putting governments back on a more even footing as they seek to protect the integrity of their tax systems and fight tax evasion.

It’s a pre-sales engine which will allow the customer to keep a track of most of their spending from various sources like credit cards, mortgages, saving accounts, overdrafts, loans, insurance, needs & goals, commitments etc. wherein most of the details are already pre-populated. MCS enables the customer to complete the account opening process and make it operational in 5 minutes; this facility is available through multiple channels (Web, Mobile, branch etc). MCS is a resilient channel and allows any product to be offered within minimal time; currently it serves products like MTA, Current account, saving account, ISA, Loan accounts etc.It is a green field and one of the most important project for RBS Group and I have been involved in it since inception.

Description:

 

The implementation of SDP will enable Bharti Airtel to have an integrated environment that will incorporate all of Airtel’s content and applications services under one platform. Post implementation of the Service Delivery Platform Bharti Airtel will become the first service provider in India to have a comprehensive service delivery platform.  The SDP is a recognized market leading global telecom framework, which is based on open standards and with proven implementations at telecom companies around the world. The SDP shall enhance the spectrum of content, application and services and integrate them across all of Bharti’s service lines and present a consistent presentation of services to the customers, who then shall be able to access through multiple channels viz. SMS, MMS, WAP, Web, broad band. The customers shall also be able to personalize this catalogue.  The content delivered to the customers shall also be more friendly and customized as per the capability of their devices. The SDP is a comprehensive solution that integrates several ISV packages through IBM’s middleware framework running over several hardware server and storage platforms.

 

Portal is the UI / front end for the Bharti Service Delivery Platform. We implemented portal solution using IBM Websphere Everyplace Mobile Portal 5.0.1 for both wireless and wired portal.

 

Responsibilities:  

 

·   Managing Document stack - High Level Design, Process Flow Diagrams/Message Maps and business use cases.

·   Quality Process/Reviews of artifacts (use cases, design document) created by other team members.

·   Design decisions, SDP wide System Analysis, effort estimation and resourcing.
